Damian and his team are excellent at their jobs, nothing is ever too much trouble and they have a great eye for the smaller details too!

Damian was originally supposed to start work in January but down to things out of both of our control he couldn’t start until May/June, throughout this whole time

Damian remained committed to the job and has been right up until the last day. 

He has kept us updated Continuously and has helped us work out what works best and

where for the space we have. He is very fairly priced and doesn’t add unexpected costs to the bill. Damian is clearly very experienced in not only damp proofing but

building work also, this shows through his knowledge he openly shares when talking

layouts/designs. 

If we needed anymore work doing we would 100% without a doubt

ring Damian and his team first.

A friend recommended Damian to help with a damp problem in my parents house. He and Lorraine were lovely to deal with from the start. Responsive and helpful by phone and in person.

We had roofers, wall painters, plasterers and damp proofers. They all arrived

at the time agreed, in nice clean vans, parked up sensibly and were all very

pleasant cheery people. Floors, cupboards and pictures were all covered up

and cleared up afterwards, nothing was too much trouble and no radios!

The cost of work was very reasonable and we felt that we had their full

attention to get the job done.

I am asking Damian to do my house next.

Everything sorted, receipt received, all within a month of asking.

We definitely recommend Damian.

Damien and his team did all the damp proofing, roofing and removal of wood

chip + plastering of a house I bought in Clarendon Park. He was very

professional and was always in touch and easy to contact. The job was very

good and the finish of the plastering was excellent. It was a big job, but

Damien was able to complete on schedule. I would highly recommend

Aquaproof.

Damian, Lorraine and their team were excellent! They carried out extensive

damp proofing work for us, together with other associated building work. They

carried this out at short notice, but on time. They can be trusted to undertake

the work competently, professionally and to a very high standard. Nothing was

too much trouble. The property was cleaned after the work - (thank you

Lorraine). I would have no hesitation in either using them again, or

recommending them to friends and family.

I really cannot recommend D. Moore Aquaproof enough. I called after a

recommendation from a friend and from the first phone call and free quotation,

Damien was friendly, transparent and helpful.

We weren’t anticipating as huge a job as we ended up needing, but everything

was well explained and organised—from contractors repairing external walls to

fitting skirting boards and tidying everything up we’ve been so impressed.

Damien has flawlessly managed the whole project. Everything happened on

time (if not faster!) and around us. Nothing has been too much trouble, and

amazingly I don’t seem to be able to ask too many stupid questions either(!)

The work looks absolutely amazing and I’m so confident with the standard and

guarantees too. D. Moore has given us our peace of mind back about our

house—thank you all so much.

to make the big decisions and was very informative throughout the process. I

Damian helped me out with a damp problem in my property. The service from

start to finish was excellent and Damian was so helpful with sorting the

problem in the most cost effective yet benefitting way to resolve the issue

permanently!! Damian and the team have helped me through the process and

answered all of my questions relating to the damp with such detail and

Following an initial damp proofing job in our kitchen- Damian and his teamwho were all great- then undertook a complete house renovation project on our very old, very neglected new home. This involved a new damp proof course throughout the ground floor, new plaster work throughout the whole house, new electrics, complete re-plumb, plus bathrooms and toilets, roofing and guttering repair and replacement, remodelled bedroom with en-suite, new ceilings plus coving and ceiling roses. Effective clear communication throughout ensured that we knew what was being done, by whom and when and how long it would take- which helped enormously with planning furniture delivery and carpet fittings. Damian and his team were particularly supportive and positive throughout the 7 months of work. They were totally trustworthy and a pleasure to make cups

Damian and his team (of 4) carried out some internal and some external damp-proofing work to a high standard. Real attention was made downstairs to provide floor protection and sheeting to protect from traffic & dust whilst the work was being carried out ... and I am very happy with the work carried out itself. The French drain (35 metres) installed along the outside of the house was completed to a high standard, with all of his team being really helpful, friendly and professional. Sound and knowledgeable advise from Damian. I would not hesitate to recommend you to friends.

I initially employed this company to carry damp proofing/tanking on the whole of the ground floor as part of a renovation project.

As it became apparent they could offer an almost complete building service; Damien quoted for additional work to include: Laying of new insulated floor, woodworm treatment, loft insulation, inner wall insulation, various reconstruction work; carpentry including new skirting, external paving and drainage.

I have to say his costings were unquestionably very competitive.

Damien Moore and his team have just completed two weeks of damp proofing two rooms and the kitchen of this very old house and they have done an excellent job. Damp proofing is inevitably a process that involves considerable upheaval, with the removal of plaster and skirting boards and lifting of carpets, resulting in a great deal of dust. All this was managed expertly, with great care for the property and as much protection as possible of the areas treated and the surroundings. Any questions we had were answered and Damien kept us informed of progress throughout the work, with a quick phone call about any decisions required.

Most of all he remained cheerful right through the work and dealt promptly with one or two changes that needed to be made. Damian Moore was recently recommended to me by another tradesman as I needed to have the ground floor of my house re-damp proofed, having had it done previously by a less than adequate company! I found Damian to be friendly and approachable when he came to do a quote, and the rest of his team were also the same. Having plaster removed is quite a dusty, dirty job but every day before they left they cleared up and did not treat my property disrespectfully.

I admit I am no expert, but I was very pleased with all the work carried out – the plastering and skirting boards look great, the level of workmanship is very good.

Any questions I had for Damian or any of his team were fully answered so I was never worried about the job whilst it was being undertaken.

Finding a decent tradesman who you can trust to do a good job these days can be difficult, but Damian (and his team!) is one of those - I have kept Damian’s contact details and will definitely be passing it on to anyone who needs any work doing; in fact I have already given it to one person, and will always ring him first if I need any work doing myself in the future.

Damien's quote for the work of tanking our cellar was reasonable and even though the cellar was under several inches of water when he first saw it he reasured us that he had seen worse and his firm could cope with re-establishing the integrity of the cellar. After testing the depth of the water beneath the floor, he returned, a month later, when it had dried out sufficiently.

His team were efficient, polite and hardworking, even though our cellar was less than head height with uneven footing.

When water broke through the cellar floor after the first layer was laid, Damien bought in extra men and assured us that he wouldn't leave us until the problem had been overcome (even though the end date over-ran his other scheduled work).

We have no hesitation in recommending Damien and his workforce to anyone considering works done, they are friendly, helpful, polite and above all hard workers who keep their word and complete their brief, most efficiently and at reasonable cost.

We recently had a full damp proof course installed in the entire ground floor of our house. This was quite a lot of work and it was over the Christmas period.

We tried other companies in the area and had conflicting quotes and more than one confusing survey. When I contacted Damien Moore he came over as soon as humanly possible. He gave me a straight forward and down-to-earth quote there and then without any hassle.
